Sander is proudly to announce our new P10 SMD LED outdoor modules. It is now available on the market.
Sander’s new SMD outdoor LED feature an IPX6 water resistant rating in a PLCC6 package. Not only it is water resistant, it is also high in performance, designed to be the ideal choice for outdoor full color led video display. It has a wide viewing angle at 120 degrees and at the same time giving intensity over 1120mcd on the red 2240mcd on the green and 560mcd on the blue, making it possible to design larger pitch size modules with surface mount led as well.
This PLCC6 package is taller at 2.8mm making potting possible, and at the same time save the amount of silicon used in comparison to traditional through hole led, thus creating a lighter weight module, which not only save on cost but also broaden the applications of the led module.
Sander Electronics has a abundant experiences of working with LED Display and Lighting manufactures in the area, having supplied the high-brightness diodes and LED modules that light up many of world most famous LED displays signs.
The encapsulation resin used contains UV inhibitors to minimize the damages of long-term exposure under the sun, resulting in sustainable light output over the life of the LED. This new technology resolved LED light degradation issue which the market has long been troubled with SMD LED.
This LED is designed specially for video display however it is also suitable for a range of different application such as lighting, amusement and special effects.
